Sorry, but that's not the radio serial number.

SN will be a "V" or an "M" followed by six digits.

When you have the SN, if it's an "M" one you can obtain the Radio Code using:

If it's a "V" then I'm afraid you're out of luck. Ford Main Dealer or there are sellers on Ebay who claim they can do them.

By pulling the radio out of the dashboard sufficiently so that you can read the SN from the white adhesive label which is stuck to the radio casing. You will need a set of radio removal tools in order to be able to do this.

Alternatively, you can try pressing Buttons 1 and 6 (or 2 and 5) togther and then turn the radio on. This will give you a stream of numbers, including the radio SN.

If it's a 2008 car then I think, chances are, it's going to be a "V" SN, anyway, but you might be lucky.

The site is not full of viruses, as it happens. I must have used the Pumapeople link hundreds of times by now and have never had any computer problems from it whatsoever! I run Super Antispyware together with Kaspersky or Macafee, depending upon which particular computer I'm using at the time. Believe me, if the site was full of viruses then I would be the first to know and I certainly wouldn't be passing the link on to others nor using it myself.

For radios whose Serial Number begins with a "V", followed by a six digit number, I'm afraid there is no Keycode generator available for you to work out the code yourself.

You will either need to visit your local Ford Main Dealer, or there are sellers on Ebay who claim they can supply the Keycodes for "V" Serial Numbers, for a fee.

Nobody on this forum can give you a Keycode for a "V" Serial Number for free, I'm sorry to have to say.
