Peugeot 308 SW 2062 Reg - Stolen Motor - shimsham

My wife had her mobility car stolen last wednesday,we still have both set of keys that came with car,as anyone any idea how it could be stolen when we have both set of keys.

Two wheel tow or put it onto a transporter. It's actually very easy and cars are stolen in these ways very often.

Does the keyless entry system on Pugs use a fixed code or rolling code system? If the former, then someone has simply cloned your entry fob. This was a common way of getting into cars in the early 90s before rolling codes became the norm.

You can even corrupt and steal rolling codes 30 seconds to enter and drive away a new RR without any keys.

Cars can be stolen in three main ways at the moment, house treft of keys. A tow truck or key clones.

Key scanning does not work on modern cars and until recently key cloning was not possiable. But the due to high tec. theives and good old EU law it can now be done.

Normally cars of high value of stolen as the effort or risk for a few hundred quid is not worth it? Unless you're a drug mule or the like. Police don't take much notice as pulling over a BMW M3 at 2am more there MO!
