I have a V W Golf Mk 7 GT TDI unfortunately it has very noisy rear shock absorbers. V W customer services arranged for my local retailer to fit new ''improve / upgraded '' shock absorbers, unfortunately fitting the new shock absorbers has not been successful in rectifying the noise problem ( the retailer agrees ). V W customer services say nothing more can be done, I will just have to live with it.

I understand this problem only affects the MK 7 Golf GT,s I feel it is unreasonable to expect the customers to tolerate this noise and it is also unreasonable for V W customer services to expect the customer to ‘’live with it ‘’ the retailer says they are still selling new cars with this inherent problem therefore more people are complaining about it, however no improvements have been made after almost one year.
