Toyota Yaris 1.3 2011 - Confusion over space saver wheel size - bildav

I have a Yaris with tyre size 175/65 R15.

I needed a space saver wheel so I bought a 15'' wheel for a Yaris

When I look in the owners manual it says the space saver wheel should be T125/70D 16 ie a 16 inch wheel.

Can I use my 15'' wheel safely or do I need to cahnge it for a 16'' space saver wheel ?

If the wheel you have bought is a standard Yaris wheel to the same dimensions as your existing wheels and is fitted with a 175/65/15 tyre you will have no issues other than storing it. Basically its not a space saver, its a full size wheel/tyre. There is no law to prevent you carring a full size spare.

If you have bought a 15" space saver you will have an issue since its does not meet Toyota's OEM spec.
