My fortnightly routine.
Cover car with water with hose and remove worst of dirt, Spray under wheelarches to remove mud and horse dung - edge of country here with riding schools.
Microfibre mitten and bucket of water with Aldi wash and wax (dirt cheap £3 for 2.5 litres last years). Start on roof and windows. Dry with synthetic chamois
The bonnet, boot, doors and sills.
Then wheels with sponge and brush.
Dry off brakes by a few stops in yard.
car looks shiny and new - until next wet day.
Takes 35 minutes. Overalls and wellies job.
Just going to do it now.
