I've just bought this car and it's sounds like a tractor every now and then. Idles quietly though. Checked the shell bearings which seem ok, the car sounds very shafty, can anyone help? ?
Diesel knock can sound very much like big ends on a direct injection engine, you possibly have an injector fault.
