All - Main dealers' information demands - Ed V

I wonder why they demand emails, addresses, phones etc, even when all we might want to do is to download a brochure?

I would guess that they lose many prospective buyers like this. Most surely will tick the appropriate box not to be hassled by salesmen anyway?

They're getting like estate agents.

The whole internet is like that - I have an email address just for these things.

Pigs me off to go into a dealer to pick up a brochure - but no they need chapter & verse just for a brochure.

They're only doing their job, which is to sell. They have their list of contacts and periodically E-mail them and there is a chance that some of them might start thinking about a new car.

People on here complain soon enough about sales staff who don't make the effort to sell.
