The door card can be removed without damage if you remove the back seat cushion and fold the rear part down. The locking actuator will need to be broken apart to release the deadlock system, not too dificult as it is all plastic.hth

hi, thanks for the advice, but how do you remove the screws down both sides and at the bottom with the door still locked ? ie wont open ?, or are you saying that with the back seat cushion removed and rear part folded down you can get at the locking actuator ?. thanks again

If you can't reach the screws round the edge.remove the screw in the door open handle recess and the the one in the door pull grab/armrest.Remove plastic trim first. You will then need to lift the door card up and away from the groove where it sits next to the glass. This will give you just enough space to hack away at the plastic of the door latch to enable the door to be opened.hth
