i need to replace my diesel pump how can i tell if a second hand 1 is the right 1 ???

you must replace like for like same part numbers and ecu numbers,if it is the single plug than is does not need to be coded the twin plug ones are coded so you must have the security code from the car you removed the pump from and the car it will be going in
