Down the road in Merton, I'm often amazed at its efficiency, with permits, rubbish collection, pavement pot holes etc.

Then I look at its income, and realise how they manage it!!

One benefit in the city is lower coucil tax, and yes keep getting caught out with the uneven pavements. However have seen two "incidents" where pedestrians have unwisely dashed across the road between stpped traffic and been in collision , 1 with acyclist, and another with a car, that's in the first week!
