Seat Ibiza 1.4 - Skoda Fabia 1.4 vs. Seat Ibiza 1.4 - Gabe

Had settled on the Fabia and then noticed that my local Seat dealer is offering an amazing price on the Ibiza. Any feedback on the two cars? Which one would you go for?

I think this has to be a matter of personal preference: make sure you get a good long test drive in each of them. Also you need to compare trim and equipment and engine power - are they all the same?

If the 1.4 you're looking at is the 85 bhp engine, you might also consier the 1.2 105 bhp engine as an alternative if you can get an equally good deal on either Fabia or Ibiza.

The Fabia is being replaced in 2014 - the Ibiza not until 2015.

If either of these are Cambelt Engines, remember to factor in the main dealer cost and add it to the initial price.
