ive had my car since feb 2013 ive had no real problems with the start up, last 2 days the engine fails to start straight away and the flashing symbol on the dashboard has been starting.

ive heard it could be the original key, so it maybe getting a new key coded. i have to try out the spare key first that i have.

if that still does the same, then i hear it maybe this ariel so may need a new transponder ariel. how much does this cost for the part and roughly to get it fitted? by citreon i assume i will have to go.

would it be best to go to citreon and let them look at it? if it carries on.

If it's the same as the earlier one, I replaced the transponder on it. £17 from Peugeot (106 and Saxo are identical) and fitted it myself. Fiddly. If you are not competent at DIT, it's a 15 minute job at a agrage - tops. So expect an hour's labour charge.
