Renault Scenic - bearing faulty? - jon1967

Hi, i've just returned from a 2000 mile round trip with the car full a luggage, wife and 2 small children.

I seem to now have the familiar humming noise of a wheel bearing, kicks in at about 24mph.

Ive jacked each wheel up to check for any play in the bearing but there is no play at all in any of the wheels. Could the humming be something else?

It probably is a wheel bearing, the problem is that the problem only usually shows up when the bearing is under load, when you corner see if its louder in one direction than the other, if so its usually the bearing that the weight is being thrown on to i.e. the left one if you are turning right.
