SEAT - Manufacturer Changing Spec - Steve87

Hi,

Interested to know where individuals stand if the manufacture changes the spec between you ordering a car and receiving it.

My new one has been on order for getting on for ten weeks now and already I understand (not through SEAT themselves) that it will come with two less things that were stated in the brochure when I ordered it?

You have a statutory right to cancel with full refund of any deposit paid.

You can't insist they build to the ordered spec and you can't insist on a price reduction.

Frustrating for you.

I defer to RT's better knowledge.

What are the two items and could they be dealer-fit options instead? If so, you may have some negotiating power.

If not, try for some free services or accessories to the value of...?
