Hi, Really need definite answer whether cruise control can be added/retrofitted to corsa C prefacelift '03 1.2 SXi with a Z12XE engine.

The car is as it came from factory, no mods, changes etc. Have been researching on various other forums to see of this can be done or not...nobody can give a certain answer.

Need to know as my lower lumbar problems and AVN of left hip worsening & this mod would make driving much easier. (Hope somenbody on here able to help, with a definite yes or no).

factory fit cruise was never available on this model.It is possible that an aftermarket kit can be fitted,but generally their operation can be a little erratic.The throttle system on these is electronic,there is no cable.hth

I have a cruise control fitted to my ... Toyota Yaris Verso 1.3 2004 ... 6 months ago ...

I bought it from an American company ... www.rostra.com ...

It cost about £240 that includes £54 customs import charge ...

It is on youtube ... search for rostra 250-1223 ...

I had an Auto Electrician fit this ... It works perfectly and I am very happy with it ...

Just saw the previous post, this is for a cable operated throttle but the Rostra web site also has one for the electronic throttle system ...

Not worth it on an old car. Buy a car fitted with cruise control and better seats to support your back.
