Ford Focus 2002 1.8 TDCI - Ford Focus Electrical Problems - pistolandrapier

I'm having a range of electrical issues with the car, I'm not sure if they are seperate or related but any assistance in understanding them and possibly getting them fixed would be brilliant. The problems are as follows:

My fan is not working at all, initially it worked fine, then only worked on the highest setting and now has completely stopped.

My rear wiper is working intermittently, it stops at random points through a cycle and will randomly stop and start thoughout a journey.

The lights on my drivers side seem to keep blowing often within hours of changing the bulbs. At one point activating the full beams also turned my right headlight indicator bulb on solidly and briefly activating my right indicators cause all of the bulbs on that side to flash in sequence.

Thanks again,

J

I would say you have a series of minor issues, but not related. The fan is likely to be the motor and/or the speed resistor. The rear wiper could be fractured wiring, where ir runs through the plastic tubing into the tailgate. The lighting fault could be poor connections or bad earth to the light cluster on the right side. All fairly easy fixes.hth
