Do both cards do the same and what happens when you use te manual key? If its just one card then the legs of the transister in the card lock button are broken.

If it isn't the cards themselves, it sounds to me like you've got a latch problem:

either
lock motor not working
or
lock switch not working

try disconnecting the door electrics at the A pillar and reconnecting. Clean connections if necessary. If still no joy try testing the latch functions from this connection point.
