Thev can be repaired if its punctured in a place that is legal to so, the problem is that all the slime has to be removed taking up valuable expensive time something most tyre fitters do not want to do.

The answer is either have the tyre removed and clean it yourself or find a tyre company willing to do it for you and then repair it.

My own understanding has always been that car tyres which have been repaired with "Slime" could not or would not be repaired.

Oh dear the tyre fitters are at it again-Slime, in common with all the other known tyre sealants is water solube - so just wash it out with a hose, dry it out and repair it - but naturally it's a good opportunity to deny this truth and sell you a new tyre. More profit and they don't get their hands wet.

And before any of the "tyre experts" start, I've seen it done on one of my own tyres, I had to take it out to the yard and wash it out with the hose!
