I used to reside in Bedfordshire, and a couple of hours ago browsed Beds on Sunday just to keep up to date so to speak.

Twenty years or so ago the beds traffic cops were known as "the black rats" - by the rest of the police.

Leopards don't change their spots it seems.

Quire right to ,however wouldn't it be better if addictive drugs ,cocaine ,heroin ,crack etc were made available to registered users , The cost of policing drug crime and the treatment of health problems resulting from drug misuse ,must vastly outweigh the cost of proving the drugs on prescription .

The real reason is twofold: ( I ssupect)

I suspect drug dealers fund anti drug campaigning - it keeps the prices high

The US does not approve and would take actuion of a financial nature.. (See the previous reason)
