vauxhall astra active - cooling fan not working - taz1985

ok so my cooling fan is not working the electronics warning light is on the code tells me the cooling fan is not working after trawling the internet told to change the resistor did this still not working. but if i by pass the relay the fan works change relay still nothing at a loss now.

astra active 2003 , 1.6 8v petrol, with aircon.

If there is one fan fitted,it will be a 2 speed unit .Does it work on either speed?

The thermostat is a very common failure on the 1.6 8v, it gives various symptoms.

ok so got this prob sorted changed the whole fan unit and were working now altho i now have a fuel pump code come up now it says fuel pump primary? any ideas
