Hi I have a vivaro 05 plate and it has loss power cant go above 20mph? It starts up fine. Took to garage and had the machine on it and its reading no faults??

Has anyone any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

Ah, well. That's it then. Nothing wrong with it, must be your imagination.

Some garage!!! I'm guessing you won't be going back there then, if that's the best they can do!!

Blocked exhaust? [badly] binding brakes?

Take it to a diesel specialist, they generally know what they are doing and are cheaper than a garage.

Hi was wondering of the outcome to your problem please? I have a Vivaro 1.9 2005 with the exact same problem wont go over 40mph. Have tried everything we can think of, MAF sensor, EGR valve, Engine loom, New ECU, and still no power, its not getting as far as where the turbo kicks in, however turbo is brand new last month so know this is not the error even though this has been tested.

Any help would be greatly apreicated

they can suffer from wiring loom issues across the front crossmember (i have seen 2 with broken wires here)

its obviously in limp mode if it wont get above 40, so there must be fault codes, but don't rely on P---- EOBD codes, you need a manufacture specific reader to extract certain codes from vauxhalls.

what scanner are you using?
