If you reckon the Skoda isn't worth much and is going well why change it?
I think there is an implicit question in the original post, namely how long is an 11 year old diesel Yaris likely to remain trouble free. My two previous cars (Nissan, Ford) starting falling to pieces at ~10 years and 150,000 miles. In both cases rust was serious, and in one case the engine managment system went, and wheel bearings and the like were failing. I wonder how long the Yaris body will last? 20K miles a year is a lot.
You are going to part with 5 grand plus for a car to do the same job as the Skoda seems to be doing well!
