I've long been a critic of motoring magazines printing beautifully crafted computer graphics images of forthcoming new models, based on informed guesswork. The CG images are often presented with equal validity to real photos and are sometimes almost indestinguishable from professional shots of real cars,

But the guesswork is often wrong - but, hey, customers will have forgotten about that by the time the car comes along!

Here's a guess from 2009 about what the Peugeot 208 was going to look like. How wide of the mark can you get? The Peugeot 208 may be no oil painting but at least it's not this ugly!
