2005 Ford Mondeo Estate - Where to update Sat Nav - jesus_man

I need to update my sat nav. I believe what is in there is the original from 2005, so it is very out of date. Looking for the least expensive way to get an update from that last year or two. Thanks!

Searching the usual moody torrent sites for a disc image can yield very cheap results......

I am actually in Germany and I see enough out of date stuff that I should try to do something.

I did some searching, but I want to make sure I am getting the right product. If anyone has an actual website, that would be great!

Ok Galaxy, I ordered a DVD from that link. They asked me to send a picture of the current disc and they believe that the update will indeed work. Thanks for the help! I'll report back when I try it.

Wish I had a good update. I ordered it over two months ago and it has never showed. Company sent another one a few weeks ago and still nothing...

I'm very sorry to hear that. I only found thhis item listed for sale, I'm afraid, and have no knowledge whatsoever of the seller, apart from his Ebay Feedback Record. I hope you paid by PayPal so that you can obtain a refund, if necessary.

It would appear the original listing has now been removed, probably at the request of Ebay. The item now shows "This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing"

It may well be possible to purchase these discs from a Ford Main Dealer but I dread to think what they may cost. Might be worth asking, though.

Edit...............I've just done an Ebay search and the seller is still offering these discs for sale! Listing is here:

You say the seller has sent you two but neither have arrived? Have you contacted the seller? Seems odd that you haven't received either disc, that is, assuming they were sent in the first place!


The only other possibility is to search the torrent sites but I didn't tell you to do that!

Galaxy - thanks for the response. I have been corresponding with the seller and they are not sure why I am not getting them. They offered a full refund, which is nice, but I'd rather have the updated DVD. The link you posted went to a Garmin stand-alone unit. Was that your intention?

I don't know where the hang-up is. I have a physical address in Germany, and a USA BOX address on post. They tried both. I can't fault the seller, but I am still back at square one only months behind now.

I have sent emails to a few more sellers on ebay.co.uk and will try again to find some on ebay.de.

Maybe someday soon I'll be successful.

Sorry to hear you're still having problems. Yes, that link appears to be the wrong one, I'm sure it's not what I originally meant to point you to.

I've just had a quick look on Ebay and there are a couple of people on there selling Ford Satnav DVD Updates, including this seller:

Can't remember if this is the seller you've previously been in contact with, I'm afraid; this story has been going on for so long!

Have you tried asking a Ford Main Dealer how much they would want for a legitimate update?
