Im a first time poster in need of some advice please.Im looking for a smallish second car and have kind of narrowed it down to the above.Ive got a small budget of around £2,500 and autotrader has plenty to choose from and i came accross a lovely T reg Golf TDI 110 77,000 on the clock and looks in great nick...i thought that would be the one, until i read the honest John review and "the bad points" bit!!!

Now im totally confused and it seems the Audi is a safer bet if not more expensive....has anyone out there got any advice they could offer me?
