A lot of petrols do, yes, certainly larger cars. Are you absolutely sure on the Saab? Maybe it depends on model year but 2002-2011 petrol 93's IIRC are fitted with a LUK DMF.
Yes, I'm sure. The 1.9 diesels have a DMF but not the petrols. The OE clutch was LUK as you say. Mines a 07 Aero 2.0T. The petrol engines have contrarotating balance shafts.
A 2.0t Aero should have a DMF, so if it hasn't then someone has removed it! I think maybe the base 1.8 had a solid flywheel (even though it is a 2.0) but the more powerful versions should have a DMF.
There is a load of uncessary fuss over DMF's - only a few badly designed ones go wrong and it tends to be on diesels. On most cars they outlive the car. Fortunately, most aren't even that expensive these days anyway.
