Mini roundabout crash - Tom11
Hi everyone just need your advice on this.
At mini roundabout my right side car didn’t signal and hit my car when I was already attempting to my exit which was my first exit.
Evidence shows that car was doing U Turn in that mini roundabout should’ve signalled right before that didn’t happen.
Has anyone had similar incident and the outcomes please could you share your experiences on this?

Many thanks

Might need a diagram or Streetview link to understand this.

As a miniroundabout is to be treated as a normal roundabout, then if you pulled out into the path of the other vehicle, then you would have at least a partial liability. The lack of (or even presence of) indicators is generally not particularly relevant.

Accident on a mini roundabout with both vehicles moving will resuklt in an agreement between the insurance companies that both parties are at fault, unless there is video evidence that this is the incorrect.

Regardless of his lack of indication, you have to give way to traffic from the right on mini or standard roundabouts.

The best you can hope for is a 50/50 blame situation

A failure to indicate on roundabouts is my bugbear (sure I'm happy just sitting there while you turn off).

But I'd guess that failing to anticipate traffic already using the roundabout means you'll be liable.

Total guesswork here, but I'm assuming:

Other car is at 9 o'clock position and enters the roundabout.

You're at the 6 o'clock position and wanting to go to 9 o'clock.

You assume that the other car will either leave the roundabout at the 3 or 6 o'clock position.

It doesn't. it goes back to it's original road at the 9 o'clock position and there's a bump?
