kuro 2018 - Suzuki Vitara - sunseeker87

Hi all,

I have posted a few times about upgrading my little old Yaris for something bigger and newer.I was set on a Skoda or Toyota but I find myself very tempted by the Suzuki Vitaras as they are so much more budget friendly for me.

I have seen this one and am going to view it later,I would appreciate anyone's thoughts and advice

I'd be perusing the service history closely before test driving, the expired in June MOT history doesn't inspire the greatest of confidence, it appears the NSR tyre has a tendency to attract nails or one was it left in place for 3 years, submitting it for MOT with ''signifcantly and obviously'' worn brake discs and subsequent below efficiency brake performance when brake disc wear was an advisory 9000 miles earlier is another sign, to me anyway, it hasn't been particularly well looked after by its previous owners, hopefully the service history tells a diifferent story....note i'm fastidious about brakes and tyres being top notch so maybe take that into consideration if you read this.

No harm in going to look at it, even if you reject it out of hand if you find the model attractive the more examples you look at the better you will be able to judge the right one when you alight on it.

I agree with Gordon's comments, looks clean and well worth going for a look.

Minor issues with previous mot history , but easily resolved. The Kuro model is quite rare , it’s basically and Szt with a few cosmetic enhancements. Mechanically the same as any other model with the 1.6 petrol engine. It’s a chain drive motor , so no cambelt to worry about.

I have a Vitara that has this engine (and is this colour). It's very competent in all respects. Not as plush or refined as some others but a lot more reliable and easy to run.

Decent car but personally I'd prefer the 1.4t version. Had a Vitara S AWD auto. Not the hybrid version.

Looks to me like it's been well cleaned and valeted to sell. Personally, I'm not a fan of tyre paint and has the interior been gone over with 'cockpit shine'?
