Hi, I am having trouble with my driver's door lock on my 1994 C180 W202, it will unlock the whole car but will not lock it. I am needing to lock the car using the central locking button on the dash from the back seat. It does not not remote central locking just the key.

Any help would be appreciated.

The central locking system on these is electric/ pneumatic ( mb call it a pse system) . Air pump under the back seat that’s operated electronically. Sounds like you may have a fault with the driver door lock switch.,

It’s possible the buy the lock switch as a separate part , but it’s likely to be obsolete on a car this old ., it’s fitted to the door latch .
