Hyundai i10 - Start Rescue recommendation - galileo

Not having used the car for a few days, today I started it up, drove to a retail park a mile or so away, did some shopping and on return to the car turning the key produced lots of clicks but no turnover.

I found the Start Rescue app very easy to use to report my problem, location etc, the response promised a technician would be with me within 30 minutes

.He rang to confirm this and again when he was 10 minutes away, diagnosed the problem and had me mobile again within 15 minutes,

Very pleased with the service, so would recommend.

Been with Start for many many years, only needed them once . Zero problem. Even drove me home after dropping the car at the local dealer. (it was also a local callout.

The local agent which attended was Yorkshire Rescue Service, very professional and friendly.

Always have received excellent service from Start like HJ members but chose to move to Gem on my renewal as they got the top award in Which.

But on reflection maybe it’s best to take the feedback from this site.

Waited around two hours for AA to turn out to a friend whose Mini Moke had broken down with a failed starter solenoid . New part £8.50 but to order. So the patrolman pushed the car to achieve a jump start. Maybe they are still recovering following taking on all the bank customers.

Also I was very surprised how far Brittania has fallen down the recommendations charts. With all their Boundless members on board they should be doing much better unless the company has been sold off l?
