Its also showing a fault code b104135 oil level thermal sensor signal too long high

That wasn't there before the dpf removal and map as I checked

Correct ..visually the dpf is still there just gutted out

Removing the DPF internals will increase the exhaust smoke - if that exceeds permitted levels it will fail the MoT. If the mapping tried to increase power that will increase the smoke levels as well.

You need to stop making things up, and look at the real world.

Maybe do some research.

They aren't over reved during a MOT, and the majority of cars pass.

Garages have many ways of getting cars through emission tests!

This is not about old 1970 diesel cars.

Do you actually understand what a DPF does - or doesnt do when effectively removed - and do you understand how mapping gives a power/torque increase?

Soot is only turned to Ash when the filters reach a limit. Most cars produce little soot these days.
