Ford Fusion - Misfiring after service - CarlosFL

Hello

Started noticing a little splutter at 1200 rpm on 2nd and 3rd gear right after the car was serviced (spark plugs were changed). Lately it is happening up to and just over 2000 also at 4th and 5th.

Just saw the mechanic and he claims it could be the coil pack.

He claims is not uncommon for people to come back with a problem after the car is fixed or serviced

I m p***ed cause the car was just perfect before serviced.

He’s actually not wrong. With these Ford Zetec engines , if the spark plugs get disturbed/renewed , then usually it’s the ht leads that need replacement.

Only if the mechanic / garage is c*** and doesn't put things back properly or does a decent test drive.
