My son saw this on holiday and my wife took the picture ( which she has apologised for ! )

Is there anyway you can say what this model is from this very poor picture ?

If manufacturers made cars like this today, they would be out of business very quickly . Simple , functional engineering that’s not over complicated and often easy to fix if it did go wrong.
