"Easy pickings" ignition key kept in metal box: Maybe the second spare key was within range of the relay theft transmitter and had not been shielded by a metal box.

"Easy Pickings" perhaps GAP insurance as reccommended by HJ and not the dealers offer

"easy pickings" it takes minutes to disable keyless entry with Bimmercode. Given you lose the keyless function anyway by having to get the key out of a metal box each time you want access its a far better solution than having more cars nicked. How hard is it to press a button on a remote anyway?

Stuttering Volvo. I had a similar issue with Mr merc. After much research and trying different parts, the actual reason as a dirty throttle body which was covered in oil. Cleaning it transformed the engine becoming smoother and responsive. It did it myself as got fed up with the misdiagnosis from garages and wasting money on unnecessary parts.

Re :"None careful owners", Perhaps there is a merchandising opportunity here, "Running In, Please Pass" stickers with the HJ logo?

If we take the statement "The second set of keys were in a metal box, as advised by the BMW dealership." as literally true, where are the first set of keys? On the hall table perhaps?

A lot of the VW camper conversions are from Campers that have been made in Brazil. These do not have suitable anti-corrosion treatment for northern European countries. They are also not mechanically suitable, with problems such as frozen throttle cables being common.

'You'll need to learn to left foot brake' - more of this dangerous claptrap from HJ. Shame.
- GingerTom
Unfortunately HJ you won't convince the idiots who think they know better and who completely forget that they learned to brake with their right foot even though this felt odd at first until they got used to it. Do they not watch the rally drivers who accelerate with their right and brake with their left? Sadly they refuse to learn new skills and are happy to continue just as their driving school taught them including the white knuckle gripping of the wheel at ten to two....... don't even mention heel & toe and double de-clutching to them !
