Obviously just worn out his tyres on the Lotus test track

Bet the old bill who pulled him couldn't believe his luck, the state of that wheel and the missing lights on that wing, Lord knows what the rest of the heap is like, and drunk to boot, a very good nick that.

Somehow I doubt if the driver was in any condition to fit one. More like they would've staggered out into the oncoming traffic and being killed instantly and likely lead to a large pile-up and other very serious injuries and worse.

They don't deserve to be behind the wheel for a long time, and only then if they can conclusively demonstrate they've changed their ways.

Imagine what would've happened had the forthcoming snow and ice been on the ground at the time.

My guess is the car wouldn't have moved with steel on ice. Must be why ice skates are made of metal!

A complete idiot who I hope hasn't, and will not, breed.

For all you spare wheel mimsers... - Bilboman

A remarkably generous definition of the term "run-flat tyre"! On the same page of the website story, there's another recent case of a wheel-deficient vehicle being driven in Norfolk www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-norfolk-44819316
With these two cases, together with the flying van man of Attleborough (www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyufxcEQPGc) not to mention the recent "ducal" escapade - all of these occurred in the past six months! - one has to wonder if there's an emerging social phenomenon of NND (Nutty Norfolk Driving)...
