The car performs well, unlike the charging infrastructure. The author points out that he stopped at 8 rapid charge points on the journey, but only 2 of them actually worked. Seems we're still some way away from being able to use pure EVs for longer trips without a substantial degree of planning, range anxiety and frustration.

I was just about to start a thred regarding this artical. From what I can see it's the charging network and infrastructure that needs to improve greatly befor we can take EVs seriously l. But once it's in place I can see a more rapid uptake in such vehicles.
