Bmw 318i - Can anyone help me identify this part? - Ljk2089

Hi all,

Had some damage recently to my car & wish to get it repaired. Would like to know if anyone is able to identify the snapped part in the picture? May be very obvious but im not very good with car parts or repairs so cannot identify it myself. Can anyone help?

That looks like the main suspension arm - the car will need to be recovered to a workshop, NOT driven there as it's unsafe to do so.

It looks like a Track Control Arm. But where's the other part?

I can see two broken ends - what happened to the missing centre of this strut? And is there no other damage?
