This does not use Google Maps for navigation or traffic, it uses Here Maps. It uses Google Maps purely for location references (ie you search for a place and it uses Google Maps as a reference point with Here Maps for routing and traffic) - as an aside, Navdy forums are full of people asking for Google Maps or Waze integration for routing and traffic as Here is nowhere near as good.
