Help anyone, if I leave my car parked in the sun for any length of time, when I try to start it comes up with Engine Malfunction then Immobiliser active and it doesn't turn over. Fingers crossed when I've left it with the doors open it starts perfectly normally after 20 mins. It's doing my head in. Thanks for listening.

The immobiliser doesn't usually stop the starter turning over, just stops it starting - unless your car is different. Sounds more like a failure of a 12v supply to the starter, check your battery connections.

Electronic immobiliser system on these cuts the starter and the fuel injection system.If the warning display shows a failure of the system,i would suggest you get the battery tested. A low voltage condition will cause this problem.
