Hi all this is my first post here so bare with me.

My 2009 Ford KA air con stopped working a while ago at the time I was told it probably needed re-gassing, after having it re-gassed it still did not work.

Anyway the garage did a bit more testing & I was told that there was high pressure on the flow but low pressure on the return which may be caused by a sticking valve. They said it would cost about £300 to look at with no guarantee that it can be fixed! Anyway this was about a year ago as I thought at the time that I barley used the air con anyway so stuff paying £300 but what with the recent weather it has bought the problem to my mind again especially after being stuck in traffic & with my 10 year old son complaining every 2 seconds that he is hot.

Does anyone have any experience with ford KA air con systems & does what the what the garage was saying sound right ?
