As I understand it, that uses the 6-speed wet clutch DQ250 which is rated at 400Nm - the car featured appears to be tuned/chipped up to 686Nm and no mention of any transmission upgrade!

I still talk (or torque) in English money and I calc that 400Nm is 294 torques prior to decimalisation. 400Nm is well adequate for a car as it leaves the factory with 350Nm but will surely struggle with double the original. That and the abuse a car gets doing SS 1/4 mile runs.

Impressive output from a 2 litre 4-pot motor, although how long the internals will last at 250+bhp per litre is anyone's guess.

It is a shame that Skoda doesn't have access to the full VAG engine range: a Superb with the Audi V6 diesel would be quite something, I think.
