Just had a few days in the wonderful city of Budapest. Pleasantly surprised by the number of Rover 75s there. Also spotted a 200, 600, ZR and ZT-T. c.1984 Audi 100, 1990 Fiesta, 1980s Honda Civics including Shuttle, c.1990 Accord saloon, c.1988 Mazda 626 hatch, mid 80s Opel Kadett, 1970s Opel Rekord Coupe, 1980s SAAB 900 Turbo, RHD 9-3 hatch, MK1 Golf, several Mercedes 190 and lates 80s/early 90s E-class including two lovely E320 coupe, Citroen Visa diesel! a few BX, MK1 Megane estate, a few Trabants, Skoda Favorit and Felicia including commercials, Lada Niva, a couple of Rivas, Peugeot 305 estate, Renault 19 cabriolet, c. 1987 Audi 80, Fiat 126, Lancia Phedra and Thesis, Renault Clio saloons, Fiat Grande Punto? saloons, c.1985 Subaru saloon, Skoda Estelle and the most unusual site was a c.1983 yellow Ford Escort parked outside the State Opera House with a white electric cable coming out of the driver's side window connected to a wooden market stall!

Of the new cars the most noticeable cars we don't get were the Renault Fluence, latest Clio estate - IMO, a good lokking car - perhaps we will yet get it. Now one I know we won't get, the new Espace and Initiale, a vehicle with great presence that looked extremely impressive. I think a grave mistake Renault chose not to sell it here.
