Merc e class advice - NAthan smith
Looking at buying a merc e class around a 63/14/64 plate. Looking at ads finding it difficult to see the difference between the c220 Cdi amg line and the amg line blue tec? Anyone know of the differences?

Blue tec will have an ad blue system which requires fluid refills every few thousand miles.

AMG = stiffer suspension, bigger wheels / fatter tyres (sometimes bigger on back than front), leather /leather suede/alcantra is std in most cases.

Some go faster chrome, liberal selection of AMG badges & aHigher Insurance Group.

Benefits of blue tec ?
Merc e class advice - Happy Blue!

Possibly better emmissions/economy. However my E350CDi from 2011 is bluetec without AdBlue. Avoid AMG unless you like biggger wheels and worse ride. An e-class is for cruising not rallying.
