Volvo V70 - Accident update - barney100

We are now 3 months into waiting for our car to be fixed...absolutely nothing from the insurers or bodyshop for ages. I used to ring every couple of days but have got fed up awaiting any concrete news. Value of car £7000 appx. Work so far around £5000 and well over £10,000 in hire cars.

They brought it back over a month ago with damage to the rear which wasn't there before. I rejected it, back it went as they accepted this and would fix it. Inspector has another look and found 'Damage to door frames'. No real update since then, I got fed up of 'phoning. Into 4th month now.

Any wonder premiums are going up? complete lack of common sense. Up to now it has cost over £10k more fixing it than writing it off and here I am in a brand new XC90 at who knows how much a day.
