Hi all, before I go to our dealer to make myself look silly. My wife has changed her phone from samsung s5 to a samsung s7. She cannot pair the phone to the car, although both devices are showing bluetooth connection. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the bluetooth menu on the car system and delete the old phone. set up the new one with the pin. I assume it is with the default pin number.
On the Kia venga the set button is quite sensitive so if any problem the kia dealer will happily help. (take 'em some choccys to say ta, or (perhaps in this weather0 some ice cream.

Thanks very much ORB. We still havent sorted it though. I will see if the phone is at fault and then if its not that, a visit to our local very good dealer, Clarks of Kidderminster. Thank you again.

Sorry, forgot to add, go to the kia site, connect my phone, put in your model and see if the new phone is supported.

Again thanks for your help. Ive checked the link you posted and the s7 is not supported. I will visit the garage on Monday to see when/if they will add the phone. Thanks

My phone isn't on the list, but works perfectly. Its hard for car manufacturers to keep up with phone makers.

Correct, Upon checking, my galaxy S6 is not on the list, (neither was mt previous lumia 640 or my wifes xperia z. but i had paired it without thinking.
If the phone can recognise the car it'll connect...
