Never mind TFI Friday, more like TFF That.

Quite surpised he gave up so easily, but hopefully with him gone, it'll be less targeted at 14 year olds.

This, BBC, is what happens when you give creative control to a narcissistic imbecile.

I don't mind LeBlanc or the others for that matter, but Eddie Jordan was like a fish out of water.

Maybe the Production team are all recent graduates of Media Studies, but not everything needs to be so competitive and supposedly hilarious all the time.

This is massive good news. I am so happy right now seeing him fall from grace. He is an oxygen thief and deserves all the humiliation that is coming his way.

I could not bring myself to listen to his mouthy nonsense on the radio. Seeing him AND listening to him was never going to happen. He is just a gobby nobody with no personality or charisma that has shouted his way to fame in the fake world of the BBC.

Good on the public "voting" him out by ignoring him.

Always said that man has a face for Radio. Obviously hes got a great future as a third rate Michael Caine looka like. Sad cos I like Michael Caine.

Perhaps he can use his spare time to buy a second tee shirt and a spare pair of kecks. Seeing as how he wore the same outfit in every episode.

Joey wasn't bad though he has an easy going charm. Sabine needs more air time but obviously the big dogs need to be reinstated.

Top Gear is a motoring programme and should not be a shouting TV car play-pen

CE never really showed his passion for all and everything to do with cars. Example-I never got the sense that he properly knows( and understands) how to check his oil, water, tyres, brake levels etc. A car to him is just an expensive toy.

Clarkson understands cars, whether they be top class sports/limos or just ordinary hatch-backs.

Time for the BBC to let this series die now. They're proved they can't replicate its popularity.

The original series was popular because the three presenters were fairly down to earth (even later on when they were earning a lot from doing TG) and a lot of people could relate to at least one of them. Some of their antics were obviously faked but no one cared as they are clearly car enthusiasts with a good relationship with each other.

So trying to replace that with a millionaire playboy (how many ferraris has CE got?!) and a rich american actor, a rich F1 boss and a scattering of others to provide 'BBC balance' really wasn't going to cut it for the millions of fans who made original TG a big ratings hit.

Goodbye TG, I shall enjoy the 'classic' episodes on Dave for years to come!

Not necessarily. Remember the revamp when they sacked Tony Mason, Chris Goffey and Steve Berry? That was awful and it ended being axed.

Even the early modern-Clarkson-era episodes were awkward. Jason Dawe anyone?

And lets not forget the plummeting rating of the final two series under Clarkson's command.

Its not just the presenters, its the tired format that has been exhausted and out of ideas.

the guests and co-presenters on the radio programme are interesting to listen to, hopefully he has learnt a lesson, what with knuckles being wrapped for promoting TFI Friday and now the TG debacle he needs to take heed and mellow a little, to lose the radio programme would be a massive blow for him.
