For focus - Boris mk1 focus - S40 Man

Just watched the news and Boris Johnson came on and drove off in a black ml 1 focus. I was slightly surprised, not sure what i thought he might have. Probably be can't be seen in a German or v French car right now?

I saw that too. The car was missing the driver's-side mirror pod and had visible dents and scuffs. I suspect it's his 'city' car: unobtrusive and so cheap that it doesn't matter if it gets dinged / scraped. And he can afford the congenstion charge :)

I thought now theres a man with a common touch what next is he going to be seen buying a part at the local breakers lol.In time he may work his way up to say a 2007 motor but time must be hard at the moment for him so he had to stick with the Focus at this time.

I think he also has an old Toyota Previa (he and his wife has four children). He earns a lot of mney from booms and journalism but probably believes in keeping cars until they drop.

BoJo is a classicist, doing 'poorly at science and maths' according to Wiki. This makes me deeply suspicious of his ability to understand economics, concepts and logical arguments - heaven help us if he becomes PM. I suspect he has as much interest in cars as backroomers have in fridges.

Although I applaud his wise/serendipitous choice of a Mk1 Focus!
