2001 51 plate Peugeot 206cc 2.0L - No power on roof, window and central locking - MickyV

I recently fitted a reversing sensor to this car and blew the reverse light 10 amp fuse and the 20 amp central locking and window fuse, I have replaced both and the reverse lights and parking sensors work but no power to the folding roof, electric window or central locking, checked all other fuses and earth straps and all is ok, could it be a relay and if so where is it situated in the car please.

Not too sure how you managed to blow so many fuses by fitting parking sensors?Have you trapped any wiring it the roof mechanism?Ther is a fuse box below the steering wheel and one in the engine bay, next to the battery. This one also has mega fuses below the main fuse/ relay plate.Don,t think this will be a relay fault.Any way,all the relays are built into the body control module and not replaceable seperately.

I shorted out the the reverse lights by conecting to the wrong colour wire.... thought black was earth ???? no trapped wire, it runs under the seats in the back an through the same hole in the rear bulkhead as the existing loom.... as I said no fuses blown now but no folding roof or windows or central locking????

I build Kit cars for Ultima Sports Ltd for a living so I am a car mechanic/technition, although wiring is not my forte but Im sure this has to be something more than a fuse ... thats why I thought relay,,, relays are delecate and can blow.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery, just incase the body module has thrown a wobbly?Never seen a relay blown, either the operating coil goes open/short circuit or the contacts burn out.
