Yes, congratulations, indeed! Very well done!

Congratulations HJ - daveyK_UK

best car site in the UK

Congratulations HJ - Wukl

No argument from me. Normally the UK motoring press drives me to distraction, so now I find I'm confused that I'm agreeing with them judging themselves!?

I hope Autocar and WhatCar? received zero votes because their reporting is utter dross, encapsulating all that turns me off the current crop of car magazines.

Well done HJ.

Congratulations HJ - dimdip

Fully deserved; congrats to the team.

Congratulations HJ - RobJP

Yup. Well done to all. Whilst we may all gripe at times, it's by far the best site for 'real' motoring.

A big pat on the back, and well deserved too.

Congratulations HJ - focussed

Brilliant website and forum - a well deserved award.

Congratulations HJ - Avant

Great news, isn't it! There are other sites that do parts of what we do, but none that does them all. And, more than with others, what makes us special is all the contributions from car owners / users.

Thanks especially to those who draw attention to something on the website or provide a link. We'd like to get even more people who use the forum to look at the wealth of information on ths site - and vice versa.

Congratulations HJ - gordonbennet

Well deserved too.

Applause...

Congratulations HJ - oldroverboy.

As others have said, WELL DONE that man.

As a footnote, even with my experience in the trade I have found the site useful , informative and humourous too,

Peoples motor Champion!

Hear hear.

I started reading HJ's advice in the Telegraph 20-odd years ago. In those days he used to reply to questions and queries by hand! Still got one of his letters somewhere, when I asked about the frequency of oil changes on a new car.

HJ was very helpful to me too in those days by helping/advising me how to get into print with articles - even paid for in the DT! Those days have long gone.

This site is the place to be. Sadly, in my opinion, the Telegraph motoring section is a shadow of its former self, smaller (due to newspapers' general problems nowadays re advertising/circulation etc) but also what there is seems to bear remarkably little relevance to real life day to day motoring and relies a lot on re-hashed and re-credited press releases.

Heyho.
