Ok it's simple NO after market diagnostic unit is going to be any good unless its BIDIRECTIONAL that means it can reset all codes shown as in renault /Peugeot/citrons automatic transmission's /electric power steering ect ect most of these after market scanners can't even read the codes for French cars because they use the clip software/ scanner , and beware if you buy one off eBay there are a lot of Chinese ones out there that can be problematic , so remember unless its bidirectional and has clip software its no good for a French car !
